My fingernails can start growing back now...

The anthology is in!

My *&#^@ email is down right now, so I can neither invoice nor ship the pre-orders, but they're in!!! (The first box, anyway - I had the other 4 boxes sent media mail rather than paying $66 apiece.)

There are about a hundred things I hate about it - I had to re-do all the section covers in a rush for the second printer, and there are blank pages where I wish I'd thought of something clever to do with them, and ... and... and...

But it's done, and if I hate that it's like 6 months later than it should have been and NOT PERFECT, well, it's still an awesome thing and I have understandable pride in it.

The color pages are GORGEOUS. The binding is great. The content - well, you judge, but I think it's one of the best collections on the subject.

I've been avoiding art...

I've been feeling horribly low about my art, and crushed under commitments, and thus avoiding it, to my own mental detriment. (Do as I say, not as I do, boys and girls!)

But last night I sketched a little and starting inking on one of the in-progress pieces.

And, I don't hate it so far!
