The Mammoth Story. (with photos)

So, a few Friday's ago, after a particularly tough night with the wee beast, I slept in instead of getting up to see the husband off. I woke to find a stuffed mammoth outside the nursery door.



I immediately shot off this text:

TRAPPED IN ROOM BY MAMMOTH STOP SUPPLIES RUNNING LOW STOP SEND COFFEE END

Jake replied:

RESCUE PARTY TRAPPED STOP ADVISE LOCAL HELP END

I assessed the local help and replied:

LOCAL HELP DEEMED USELESS STOP BABY PRACTICING GYMNASTICS STOP CAT LOOKING DISDAINFUL AND SLEEPING ON YOUR PANTS STOP PURSUING ESCAPE ALTERNATIVES END

Followed shortly by:

MAMMOTH SUBDUED STOP PHOTOS TO FOLLOW STOP CAT STILL DISDAINFUL END

And received:

GOOD WORK STOP NOMINATED FOR MEDAL STOP GOD SAVE QUEEN END
