And... resist making lists of things I have to do.
Have an outline for the novel I want to try to write in November. It's been stewing a long time, and it's dying to get onto paper. I'm not quite nuts enough to sign up for that NoWhatEver, because heaven knows that the way this house is going, November will be spent tacking vapor barrier up at 30 below, or putting the roof back on, or something awful like that I don't even want to think about.
I'm going to sluff off everything I should be doing and go play cribbage with my sweetie.
