I am so disgusted

Seriously.

And I don't just think it's because this has been a truly rotten day chock full of bad news and more bad news.

I'm disgusted with people's inablilty to follow through.
I'm disgusted with people's inability to read and follow instructions.
I'm disgusted with two-faced bickering.
I'm disgusted with duplicitous, petty, back-handed planning.
I'm disgusted to be asked to choose sides of a conflict that wouldn't even exist if people could be mature and professional.
I'm disgusted by ass-kissing.
I'm disgusted by lack of planning and people's reliance on my goodwill to make everything all better when they can't scrape together so much as common courtesy.
I'm disgusted by a global lack of honesty, truth and effort.

I'm not going to go into details, and lest you suspect you know what I'm talking about, I'll assure you now that you don't, since this is a combination of about six completely unrelated topics.

I am the little red hen. I will plant the grain and harvest the wheat and grind it and make the bread and bake it, since no one else will get off their ass to do so.

And when it comes down to it, I'll share that damned loaf of bread, because that's the kind of person I am. But right now, I don't feel like doing squat for anyone.

Today is not a good day to ask me for favors or bug me about something that I'm doing for you out of the goodness idiotic generosity foolish kindness default wussiness of my heart. Just so you're warned.
