The "Ten Things I've Done That You Probably Haven't" Meme

1. Had a steak dinner with Larry Elmore the day before my birthday.
2. Walked over a porcupine.
3. Started a business when I was 17.
4. Built a house. (Not contracted out, either... I mean built the house. I have the scars to show.)
5. Lived without plumbing. Broke my back!
6. Wrote horoscopes for three years.
7. Was a soloist (singer) in our fourth grade production of Going Buggy. I was Lana Ladybug.
8. Studied classical piano for eleven years.
9. Walked a mile to school at fifty below.
10. Um. Um... I can't think of a tenth. You guys are all cool and have done most of the spiffy things I've done. :P

Edit: Oo!! 10. Graduated Cum Laude with a degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in art.

Edit 2: 11. Had eye surgery!

It was the Con that almost sucked. I spent big money to go to a start-up con in Reno, 2000, but there were Problems, and the con was pretty much a bust in terms of sales and exposure... except that I met some super cool people, Larry Elmore included. I got there a day early and met up with him and the con director the night before scoping out the vender's room. We invited him to try out the restaurant with us, he agreed. Very exciting! He probably doesn't remember me at all, though. :P

And I have lived without running water and electricl...once the electric came in there went the neighborhood (people decided that "Oh there is electric now so we'll move and make houses and leave our *(%&% lights on all night...I'm glad I am in Baltimore now, I don't care if people build or anything here it's already wrecked...)
