ellenmillionGot through 15 artists at the submissions site, had to write a number of 'sorry but no' letters and got to write up contracts for some really spectacular work. I suppose it balances out, and I'm SUPER grateful to have gotten really nice letters back from some of the folks I had to reject thanking me for the critique. Makes me feel much less mean.
18 artists left to get through... Maybe tomorrow I'll finish! By the end of the week, I hope at least. I want to get back to writing pretty soon here, but this needed to get out of the way.
Sending in paperwork for a Dealer's table at Dragon*Con today. Oy. Scary. Means I'm committed, and after how horribly I was burnt (if ONLY monetarily) trying a Con last time, it's pretty nerve-wracking. I also should have done this weeks ago and hope they still have a table or three left. A six-foot table is pretty teensy for the amount of stuff I have available, but if it goes well I can get an exhibitor booth next year - at $1000 it was a much larger gamble.
Lunchtime... then orders. Maybe no art today - got LOTS of paperwork and orders and emails to do.
