Just a brief update to say the fair is going well - the new tents ROCK, my new space is vastly superior, I've already paid off the space and the tents and have 2/3 of the fair left. Lots of babydoll shirt sales. Some downtime, and I've done art. Working on a piece for the fairy court calendar.

Glad the fair is going well...I miss it. Have a Navajo taco for me? Although my fair food craving for Navajo tacos are now assuagable at the Natl. Museum of the American Indian, three buildings down from my office - the cafe there offers fry bread and "Indian" tacos with buffalo meat. Yum!

On the image....the chair is sort of lopsided to me. On the viewer's right, a very large piece of wood comes up in lieu of a back. Despite it's size, one doesn't see a comparable nubbin behind her shoulder on the left. And with wings, having pokey-uppy-thingys on ones chair of that size might be kind of awkward for sitting down/standing up anyways, no? Also, would the reflections be straight line continuations of the columns they are reflecting? Depends on the light source, I guess, but for the reflections to continue that way, she'd have to be backlit, I think...

Also, the reflections will need to include part of the left hand bird and her breath...But you've probably already thought of that....

I do like the composition and most of the proportions (although her forearms are a little skinny). Nice idea and am looking forward to the final product!

Keep up the good work and keep your spirits up....I continue to think positive mojo in your general direction!

Yay! Thanks! I saw that the date had changed in Lilypad, but I thought my eyes were deceiving me. That's great! I'll still get on it ASAP:)
