Everyone was so thrilled by the last quicky snow photos that I took, that I thought I ought to try to take some decent arty ones...










Okay, so this one isn't arty, just a funny reminder of what happens when you don't bring things in from the laundry line before it starts snowing...



They're a little dark - we won't get direct sunlight again on our land until about mid-February...

Ah, how well we know THAT feeling. In January we find ourselves fixating on the gradual progress of the sunlight towards our rooftop. ("Look! The sun is ALMOST shining on the stovepipe!")

Sooo pretty.... my fingers are getting more numb just looking at it..it must be sooooo cold!I always like noting how the sunbeams come into the window, they keep getting slantier and slantier, soon will be the time of Sitting In The Sunbeam In My Studio. :)

It's lovely here but, I'm still confused by the perpetual sunrise effect. By the time I realize the sun just isn't getting any higher the daylight is nearly over.
