I've been looking at the instructions for the Lilypad, as you know I can't edit big enough files yet but am saving like mad for a computer with a faster swap file.

Anyway I was wondering about where you said to zip files whether you could open tarballs, obivously winzip won't work on my Linux box I use tarballs to zip files instead, the file suffix is .tgz

I have a pretty fast connection so from my end it would probably upload without zipping, or I could post a CD.

It will be months before I really need an answer but I thought I would ask now while I thought of the question.

I have no idea if I can unzip a .tgz file. Want to send me one for me to test? Otherwise, they don't really have to be zipped - it's just to save on connection time, and I've got dsl, so no biggy here.

I'll have a go with some dummy files, it will be towards the end of the year before I have big enough files to submit but I will want to register eventually so I'll see if Lilypad will let me play
