Wa! Busy Saturday so far...
May. 13th, 2006 11:04 amUsually, I like to sleep in on Saturday. Today had other plans.
Jake went to tug (sleepily) at the blankets, his hand slipped and he hit himself in the face, not only waking himself entirely, but also giving himself a bloody lip. I shouldn't laugh - I've done this, too. Short version of the story, we got up early for a Saturday. :P
I have an express order to get out, so it's not a huge deal getting up early - and GVEA is giving away choke cherry trees, but only until noon. So, having instigated a flurry of domesticity (much bacon is baked and eggs and a delicious breakfast served), I am now printing and getting ready to drive into town. Cost of gas being what it is, I try not to go in more than I have to anymore.
Printing very large prints is rather nerve wracking. You slip a piece of paper in and remind yourself: this sheet of paper cost me $5. Just the paper. And you try not to think about the black streaks that insist on showing up on every few prints, or the cost of the ink that you're laying down and how the whole job suddenly becomes a dead loss if there's a paper jam...
