Because tragedy is always a good excuse to write bad poetry...

Darling Dreamhost, how I love you
With your awesome can-do crew
Your updates keep me mostly happy
But downtime sure does make me snappy.
These last few months are not so blissful
(I bet for you, they're really stressful)
Please give me email, sites and SQL,
With all those things, you have no equal
But without, my faith grows slim...
I'm filled with doubt, my wallet's grim.
Ignore the doubting fools who ran,
But please, please fix these, soon as can.
IMAP errors make gruesome wails,
I'm running out of fingernails.

Let's see....1and1.com it is! Dreamhost's crew was very friendly in email, but my site's been down long enough. Hope they get your stuff straightened out soon.

Just placed a preorder for Ursula's calendar and had a pretty bad experience of it. I attempted to add a comment in that order to the effect that I'd comment on your LJ with details, but in retrospect will be sending an email. (am only posting a comment here because I said I would, in the comments field in the order).

Grr! Thanks for taking the time to write out your experiences - bad experience is an understatement! I'll be looking into those fixes...

Would you mind terribly if I friended you? *hopeful look*

Not in the least!

(Though if it's for the poetry, I'll warn that it's sparse, and rarely better than this...)

*chuckles* No, not for the poetry, though I can certainly sympathize with the sentiment...

I lived in Alaska for four years and graduated from Eielson High School - I was tickled when I saw that you went to West Valley. I miss that place - in many ways I'm a wannabe Alaskan.

Plus you're doing what I wish I could be doing, namely design work.
