Okay, I just baffled my way through fixing the shopping cart at my site to charge intelligently. Woo hoo! No longer can ANYONE choose exempt shipping without an appropriately set unit, no longer will I be attempting to fit two big t-shirts into a flat rate envelope because the idea of losing $4 on shipping make me growl. Hah! I am smarter than the code!
It was a bit of a hassle, but mostly because I had to update every single product at EMG individually. I have a lot of products. O.o
Still have to integrate this with PA and with the new printshop, but I know HOW to, and have the worst of it done.
Also! I have four banners I want to integrate into a single animated .gif. *looks blank* How on earth do I do this?

Date: 2006-09-25 11:44 pm (UTC)I use Paint Shop Pro's Animation Shop - it has an animation wizard to guide you through it. The latest version should have a free trial version ... *goes and looks* Uh. Hrm. Oh, that's right, Jasc sold to Corel- www.corel.com ... holy cow, they're up to version XI, now. I still have v.5. How sad is that? Well, phoo. Animation Shop is now apparently sold as a separate software program, $39, and there's no trial version for it.
*hunts*
Ah-hah! I tell you, you can find anything on the web. PSP 7.04 with Animation Shop, free trial download. Good only on Win 95, 98, NT, and 2000 though, hope you don't have XP.

Date: 2006-09-26 12:32 pm (UTC)put each banner on as a new layer,
"save as" and type in .gif as the file suffix (its not in the drop down menu but it will save as gif if you type it in by hand)
The pop up will offer you choice of indexed or animated.
Choose animated, type in the frame timings and save
(It has to be somewhere on Photoshop surely? I'm passionate about GIMP because it is open source software and I run a Linus computer but they do mostly do the same things, just that GIMP doesn't charge you money, and lets you write your own plug ins and ok I'll shut up)
