Dude.

Usually, as you may have noticed, artist pay takes me about 2 weeks of grueling effort. Maybe 3, if my notes aren't good.

I'm done. It's the 1st, and it took me about 4 hours from start to finish. All the tallying and organizing, and a stack of orders that dwarfed the first half of the year to deal with, and I'm all done and brushing off my hands and thinking pleased-ly 'that wasn't bad!' Some of it was because artist supplies and print services obviously have no fees to pay out, and that's a lot of my sales, and because I already tallied and paid off Ursula's shirts-thingy. But a lot of it was my new spiffy program, which worked... almost seamlessly. Looks like the 'pay me!' link that artists got wasn't functioning, but it told them what to do if it wasn't (email me), and some folks have done so. It's SO much easier and painless. I still have to send out some payments, but the tallying and emailing and calculating of balances? All done. DONE.

I'm taking the rest of the day off.

Got me an email, and replied to it too. ;)
What I wonder is, is there anywhere I can see the specifics of the payment? In other words - what I am paid for?

Alas, I don't have a system in place to track that - I could track when people added things to their shopping carts, but LOTS of shopping carts get abandoned, and sometimes payment doesn't clear, etc, so that wouldn't be accurate. I have most records in my invoicing program, but it's a running total, not a per-period count. So that's not helpful for a single statement, and it doesn't count in-person sales at fairs and such. I'm still working out how best to do things, 'cause it's a common request and I know it would be helpful for artists, but it'll be tricky.

In the meantime, just ask - I usually remember off the top of my head which designs and products sold, since they all come through my hands and I can remember making them.

Pay me link? Did I need one of those or is that just for the Paypal folks?

It should only be for folks who didn't already choose a 'pay me when' $$ cap, which you already had in place! I'll be sending checks this or early next week, and you're on my list. :)

Thanks,
I tend to get paranoid when I think I've missed filling out something I was supposed to.
I keep forgetting things, I think I will shamelessly filch your monthly goals thingy, perhaps that will keep me on track.

Heh.
Well, in my case its always... amusing? ;) But those are still ocassional dollars I didn't have before, so whozzah! Also a kick in the pants to actually look at PA now that I'm a member. Too many projects and too little time, and I've got to start focusing.

Speaking off - sent you those images when you asked for them zipped, but not on the e-zine... was anything wrong with them? I ask because people are asking me about said tutorial I'd promised and I want to send them to the issue but.. ;)

Horrah! It'll be great to have you active at PA. :) (Those are much more reasonable payments I'm able to make, too...)

Images successfully received! We only held it to the next issue because we didn't have anything for Feb yet, and January was much thicker than usual! I was just about to head over to the backend and make sure you'd gotten an alert about that. :)
