Eek. Will be working fulltime this week. Many orders to fill, dance class tonight, and about 3 gallons of phlegm in my chest. Art will suffer this week. Ah, well.

So... what's up with this LJ strike thingy? Apparently, I missed some drama?

You missed SUP playing silly buggers with the listed top interests to make themselves look good (killing, amongst other things, 'bisexuality' and 'depression'). You also missed them deciding that having three options as to account type when making a journal is 'too confusing', so they killed basic.

It's funny how they treat us like morons rather than telling us the truth (We're killing basic because we earn more money off of the ads on plus), and then get surprised people get angry. XD

Yeah, that's about the sum of it: killed all NEW basic accounts (old ones are unaffected) and filtered the following interests from the popular page: Sex, Boys, Guys, Girls, Fanfiction, Yaoi, Hardcore, Porn, Bondage, Faeries, Pain, Depression, and Bisexuality. (Now they've put that back.)

The thing that's got us all the MOST ticked off is that they failed to MENTION it to the users. It was a surprise move that did not ask for feedback, and when we expressed our displeasure we were treated like the enemy. So we're slightly annoyed.
