1) What are the best and worst parts about living in Alaska?

Best: the people, or lack thereof.
Worst: the endless, depressing darkness in the winter.

2) What made you decide to open your business?

I think that the weighing decision was that people told me they would buy my stuff. Wow! Real money? For art? It was the next best thing to illustrating, which I wasn't really good enough to do yet.

3) What is your biggest desire right now?

Taaaablet. And one of Ursula's sketchpads. And making EMG a market-dominating business. And having free time. I have to pick just one? Um... Get back to me.

4) What object couldn't you live without?

Object... hmm... I'm close to the point where I'll say my Palm, but I've only had that a few weeks, so I certainly lived with out it up til then. My sketchpad, perhaps... I'd be lost and confused and unhappy without it!

5) What drives you?

Guilt, a competitive nature, compassion and a red Subaru stationwagon.

Reply, and I'll give you five questions to answer in your own journal.

It's another one of those me-me-mes that flies around LJ. By answering my post, I am obligated to ask you five you-specific questions for you to answer in your own journal. :) I'm still working on your questions, sorry it's taking me so long.

Consider this a reply, considering that you have the best reason so far (And the best incentive question so far) for me to join this meme.

*grins* Took me long enough...

Okay:

1. Where would you like to be five years from now... ideal job, ideal life, pets, kids, loving spouse...?

2. You get selected for one of those depend-on-your-wits reality TV shows with very high stakes and you get to bring a partner. It can be anyone, including fictional characters; who would you choose? (and why)

3. What object in your life do you most prize for its sentimental value?

4. What would you like to be remembered for?

5. What is the most memorable dream you've ever had?

Ooh, that sounds like fun! And can I be totally ruthless and seize on the fact that you're driven by guilt, amongst others? ;p

I am resigning from Rushwater soon, not necessarily because I have no interest in it anymore, but because I have no inspiration left for it. I would still like to receive the Tarot deck for it though, whenever you get round to printing it. ;)

c/p to answer in your own journal. Oh, and you betcha you'll get one of those decks. Asta's still getting one, too. I just need to make the darn things. (You've probably noted it on my list of things to do every week or so...) It will be so sad to see you leave RWH! :(

1. Favorite type of clothing for wearing around the house?

2. Where do you picture yourself in ten years?

3. Ten years ago, where did you picture yourself being now?

4. You can change a single characteristic in anyone near you... what would you change, in whom?

5. What's the biggest culture shock that you suffered moving between countries?

Not for nothing, but wouldn't the winter be a tad less dark and depressing if there were more people about? It's kind of a catch-22 situation. Not that I disagree with you about people. I grew up in the country, and moved to a state with zero-property lines. Talk about culture shock...

Probably depends on the people. :P

c/p and answer in your own journal:

1. Where do you see yourself taking your art? Hobby, or would you like to pursue illustrating? Congrats on that book, btw!!!

2. Is there any person, or group of people that *really* gets under your skin?

3. What are your favorite pizza toppings?

4. If you could change one thing about the government, what would that be?

5. If you could suddenly be gifted with a specific musical talent, what would you choose? (IE: voice, specific instrument, instrument making, composing...)

"Reply, and I'll give you five questions to answer in your own journal."

That could be a lot of questions to think up!

You can get a Wacom 2 Tablet (with optical mouse) for around $100. Mine isn't the professional tablet, those likely cost more. The mouse also tends not to move smoothly on the combined mousepad/tablet, so I just use my old one. But for a first tablet it's not bad.

May I have five questions? ;)

Heh. I have my heart set on a Wacom Cintiq. I decided to save up for what I really wanted, instead of buying something I'd replace when I could.

1. You can replace one member of your family with any other person in the world. Who would you replace, with whom, and why?

2. Invent an icecream flavor that you would like to try.

3. Pick a song that best describes your life

4. Would you like to do anything 'serious' (IE: play professionally, join a band, etc.) with your guitar-playing, or is it just for fun?

5. What's your ideal job?
