Things that make me happy, day 2.

Roses.

Oh, wait. Roses don't make me happy. They make me crazy...















I've almost got the leaves on the right up to the correct shade (the ones on the left are still woefully unfinished). There's too much white on the roses, still. And I have no IDEA what color clothing to give any of them.

...

Things that really make me happy: dinner tonight! Pulled pork pie, with potatoes, corn, kale and cheese, and a dollop of sour cream on top. I had thirds, it was so good.

I'll keep posting them, then! I wasn't sure if this was too many steps or not - I'm trying to snap a shot every hour, but I'm not as regular at it as I ought to be - some of them are 20 minutes apart, some are an hour and a half.

Oh. *laugh* I didn't realize you actually needed *guidance* on their clothing colors. I can't post right now because I've got to go in to Dublin--uh, pastel for Kate, yellow maybe? Darren in browns and reds, the others in ... less strong colors so they don't pull the eye too much? Lauren in blue, maybe. Um. Hope that helps! I've got to run!@ *zoomz*

For clothes, you probably want to put all those background people and the ogress in browns and yellows and maybe some greens--basically, the tree colors. Red would look nice on the princess, and would pick up the color in the roses. But then, I'm a big fan of limiting your palette to three colors. I can't wait to see what you do with the rest of the picture!!
