Things that make me happy, day 2.

Roses.

Oh, wait. Roses don't make me happy. They make me crazy...

I've almost got the leaves on the right up to the correct shade (the ones on the left are still woefully unfinished). There's too much white on the roses, still. And I have no IDEA what color clothing to give any of them.

Things that really make me happy: dinner tonight! Pulled pork pie, with potatoes, corn, kale and cheese, and a dollop of sour cream on top. I had thirds, it was so good.

Some two hours in, I'm barely halfway done with the first underpainting.



Just back from a huuuuge dinner at the Turtle Club, courtesy of my employment alma mater. They REALLY know how to throw a company dinner. (And I've managed to score a seat at every one since I quit, too. :P)

Already, my fingers are twitching to sit and paint for a while longer...
