2. What story is the image depicting? (I'm assuming it's something from mythology, but I'm not familiar with it.)

1. It's watercolor over inks. :) Artistgrade, um, grumbacher, I think?

2. The story is Right Angles to Fairyland, by C.E.Murphy. She wrote it as a nanowrimo novel a few years ago, and I got to read it. :)

1. I am so amazed by watercolor artists. That medium scares the bejeezus out of me. Maybe it wouldn't if I just tried it, but... I'm too scared to try!

2. So is the picture going to be the novel's cover art?

Oh, believe me, it scared me to pieces, too! Just got to press on (though I don't recommend closing your eyes...)!

Probably not! She's shopping it to big publishers, and they rarely let you pick your own cover.
