Productive, for a Saturday. I baked bread, and made the most amazing breakfast, cleaned the kitchen, coded in some corrections to the EMG submission system, decided to open Fantasy Art Shop submissions for a month between 15 Jan and 15 Feb, sent notifications to the various lists about that, finally sent an email update about the January issue of EMG-Zine and watched an episode of Lost. Mere's paperdoll book is almost finished - I'm just noodling around with the covers now, and thinking about an instructions page. Do paper dolls require instructions? They aren't very common, anymore... I don't think.

I moped for a while this afternoon - I was invited to go see a movie at the ACRC, but was warned that the chairs are not comfortable for long-movie-viewing... and that's not something I can really handle anymore. So I wibbled around and never bothered replying to the emails, because how do you explain something like wussy that? I can't. I'm too proud. I should've just said I couldn't go, but I got all worked up in my head about it and ended up saying nothing. Rotten and un-friendlike of me, and I feel impolite, now.

Jake cheered me up with Star Trek and fruity drinks, and made an amazing dinner with potatoes au gratin, green been casserole, and roast beef smothered in a mushroom, onion and red wine gravy. Mmm. Then the pets were snuggly, the fire was warm, and all was right with the world again.

I happen to like instruction pages with my paper dolls and my coloring books.

I don't think that being unable to sit in a chair for long stretches is wussy, but I understand that it might seem hard to explain.

Phew!!! That's pretty productive for a Saturday. Well, from my POV, anyway. :P

It's OK about the movie. And man o man, does that dinner sound tasty!
