I need suggestions. What piece - no matter how old and embarrassing - should I redo for the Kick your own A$$ contest over at DA? I love such challenges. Here, you can pick from anything listed here: http://ellenmillion.com/category.php?catname=The%20Archives

Date: 2009-02-25 09:45 pm (UTC)I was going to be a jerk and say something from 1989. XD But I like the "Moonlight Masquerade" one, or the random lady in an astronaut suit, from this gallery:

Date: 2009-02-26 04:46 pm (UTC)It's the dragon -vs- warrior chick fighting coming to life from a book. A good concept in need of a good drawing!
I'm going to have to look at that contest. I've been re-doing a number of pieces recently!
I guess I didn't explore your website enough, I hadn't seen these archives! It's really neat to see your "art journey." Your artwork has always felt very similar to mine, I can see some of the same influences early on. I wish that I had kept my older art. We moved almost every year as a kid, and never kept anything. I haven't moved as much as an adult, but I did throw away two big boxes of college-era art a couple moves ago.
