So, I think that at least some of the people who suggested that I re-do this piece were being funny, but it was definitely mentioned the most, and I could come up with a LOT of ways to improve it:

I think I'm going in the right direction, at least...

This one... is strange. Those are little lightbulbs, dangling from the tree growing out of her head, and she's holding another lightbulb... and yes, that's a huge lightbulb in the background, setting into the sea. She's sitting on an I-beam, with a giant candle and at least 2 snails. (I think there may be more, lurking in my brain waiting to be added.)
Sometimes this is what my brain just does.

Date: 2009-03-07 06:24 pm (UTC)And I think I must be sharing some brainwaves with you Ellen! I had to do a double take on your last picture - for about three days now I've had an image that wouldn't go away of a girl with a tree on her head. I have no idea why.
I must admit having it growing -out- of her head freaks me out a bit. ^_^;; I'd love to know what the lighting for that one would be since it looks like it would be incredibly complex to tie in all the surreal elements.
