I've noticed exactly the same thing... email, and forum spammage, I've had to go into lock down mode to keep them at bay!

I've installed *.ru and *.biz filters at my forums, I hope that keeps them more at bay! I had to move EMG forums to admin-approved accounts only again. What a HASSLE.

There's been a resurgence of spam since April 1st, so it's not just you. Apparently spammers think they're pretty funny. :P
