Nightmares last night.

I had forgotten when the fair started, it was already well into the first day when I remember - I hadn't set up my tent, or packed, or stocked, or anything, and was in a mad panic. I remember kneeling near some spilled icecream, begging my mother for help, saying, "Don't let me do this alone again." She seemed indifferent*.

I woke up weeping and drenched in sweat.

I'm so glad this is my last year at this.



*ETA: I'd like it noted that my parents have been supportive of my pursuits. Baffled, and I think they always wondered why I never grew out of the fantasy kids stuff, but if I had ever needed their help, I think I would have gotten it.

Oh gosh, I had a vendor anxiety dream just this morning!! Not only did I leave behind all the right things I needed (I was trying to construct a marquee tent out of a flat queensized bedsheet), but someone who doesn't like me slashed my face with a stanley knife because I put my tent too close to theirs... yikes! Two weeks to go till the event, I think I'll get started on this one early... hehe.
